KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN.

Ingredients.

500 grams chicken on the bone.
2 tsps light soy sauce.
Salt to taste.
Squashed black peppercorns to taste.
1 egg.
1/2 tsp rice vinegar.
Oil for deep frying.
2-3 tbsps refined flour (maida).
2-3 tbsps potato starch.
Sauce.
1 tablespoon oil.
1 tbsp sliced garlic.
2 tbsps Gochujang paste.
2 tablespoon tomato catsup.
1 tablespoon brown sugar.
1 tsp soy sauce.
2 tablespoon rice vinegar.
2 tablespoon honey.
2 tsps toasted white sesame seeds + to spray.
Chopped Spring onion greens to sprinkle.

Method.

1. Take chicken in a bowl add, soy sauce, salt, peppercorns, egg and rice vinegar and mix well.
2. Heat adequate oil in a kadai.
3. Take fine-tuned flour in a plate, add potato starch and salt and mix well. Coat the chicken and deep fry till golden brown in colour. Drain pipes on an absorbent paper.
4. Heat oil in a nonstick pan, add garlic and sauté till golden brown in colour. Include Gochujang paste, tomato catsup and blend well.
5. Add brown sugar, soy sauce and rice vinegar and blend well. Switch off the heat, add honey and sesame seeds and blend well.
6. Put the ready sauce on the fried chicken and toss well.
7. Transfer in a serving plate, spray white sesame seeds, spring onion greens and serve hot.
