I never understand how these restaurants serving terrible food last so long before even calling Ramsay.
Because they can borrow money from the bank. Why do you think most of these people are like 500K-1M$ in debt? They borrow until they can’t pay their monthly dues and then have to close down. America’s bank system is weird.
@@Trench010 Pretty sure if the bank knew they were lending money to a restaurant (1), and that the restaurant was making negative money (2), they wouldn’t lend these guys money. Which means these people are going out of their way to borrow money by mortgaging their house (like in this ep) or getting other personal loans to throw after a failing business. It’s total madness. I notice a lot of these restaurants simply just don’t pay their staff which is a whole ‘nother level.
The crazy thing is this restaurant is still open to this day. I think maybe the son took over. They have like 4.6 stars on Google reviews and 1.2k reviews.

I prefer the calmer episodes liek this one where it’s a slow and methodical walk to a better part. no yelling, no name calling, just a stubborn person being showed that he needs to change thier tacts to get better and slowly he sees he does, learns and is better off for it. I still love the episode in british kitchen nightmares where he helps the other Michelin star chef get their michelin star back and the business actually gets two locations it does so well. the calmer episodes like this have better story telling.
They’re still open today, with a 4.7 on google maps, and the photos look great. Those pepperoni pies look on point. Amazing.

I love what you do for people. The way the son was crying from embarrassment shows how much he cares. Then when Pete started giving in and Chef Ramsay too them to dinner and just kept giving. It was touching. You could tell Pete cared so much too as the stress came off. Sometimes we fall into depression. Chef Ramsay was able to get Pete excited about great food and not using too much ingredients as that takes away from there buisness profits and ppl weren’t enjoying. Lovely episode hope this family’s still doing well they seemed like really good ppl
Never thought I’d say this, but Gordon Ramsay is way more patient with people than I am.
Gotta love how Gordon treats the wait staff in every episode. He mutters the owners, but puts those young folks on a pedestal and talks to them with so much respect. That’s a good man.
