GOLDEN BAGS

Components

Readymade spring roll wrappers as required
2 tablespoons oil + for deep-frying
10 garlic cloves, sliced
1/2 cup minced blended veggies (French beans, cauliflower and green peas).
Salt to taste.
1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder.
1 cup fell apart home cheese (paneer).
1/2 cup sweet chilli sauce.

Method.

1. To make the filling, heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a non stick pan, add the garlic and sauté until fragrant. Include the French beans, cauliflower, crushed green peas, salt and pepper powder. Mix and prepare on low heat for 3 to four minutes. Add the cottage cheese and mix. Set aside to cool.
2. Place one tablespoon of this completing one corner of each spring roll sheet, use the maida paste on the edges and roll till the opposite corner. Seal the open edges by pushing gently. You can also fold in the 2 ends to form like a parcel or gather the edges together in pleats and shape it into a potli.
3. Heat a lot of oil in a kadai and deep-fry the bags up until golden. Drain pipes on absorbent paper.
4. Serve hot with sweet chilli sauce.
