Here's how to make a basic, chatapata Guava popsicle.
CHATPATE GUAVA POPSICLES
Components
2 cups guava juice
1 medium guava, finely sliced
1 tsp dried mango powder (amchur).
1 1/2 tsps red chilli powder.
1/2 tsp chaat masala.
3/4 tsp salt.
1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder.
10-12 fresh mint leaves.
Method.
1. Mix together guava juice with dried mango powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder, chaat masala, 1/2 tsp salt, roasted cumin powder, and mint leaves in a large bowl.
2. Take guava in another bowl, include remaining red chilli powder and salt and mix well.
3. Include a part of the guava mixture into private popsicle moulds, put a portion guava juice mix over each mould till it is 3/4 filled. Insert the popsicle sticks into the moulds. Put it in the freezer for 6-8 hours.
4. De-mould the popsicle and serve.
