How is that propaganda? He is successful and should be proud of that. No doubt he has worked incredibly hard to become such a well known chef and to be able to open multiple restaurants.
My Grandmother was born into sharecropping…. He should be proud of his heritage and American’s need to realize our DARK history. Isn’t so in the past.
Mine, too. In Georgia. She and her mother traveled up north on a hay ride…leaving the sharecropper because he stopped paying them. And her cooking was exactly the same. Very DARK history in our recent past, indeed. Stay well, sis.
