This is absolute classic camping food. I couldn’t imagine sleeping in a tent in rainy Wales and not cooking this when i wake up.
Great! It’s super important to get a decent breakfast when camping, and these kebabs are perfect for the job.. Something tasty in the morning influences how much everyone enjoys the holiday, and if you’ve overindulged on the vino last night, you can redeem yourself with a burst of barbie virtuosity. Having scrambled egg all round the gubbins gives that delicious extra protein, and a nice cohesiveness to the dish. Hefty metal skewers are good I think, as they conduct heat inwards to make sure everything is done evenly.
