Initially hailing from Vietnam, bánh mì is a scrumptious street . In this episode, samples bánh mì from a stall in London established by females who struggled to find a bánh mì done, in their words, 'the right way'. While the stall may no longer exist, there are locations across the UK that are still pleasing crowds with this wonderful French-Vietnamese classic, so go get stuck in!

  2. They’re massive over here in Australia we can’t get enough of them 😂 if you’re ever in Sydney go to top ryde shopping centre, the bake house next to Woolworths is hands down one of the best banh mi going around 👍

    1. You have Woolworth’s there still? We use to have them here in US …i’m not sure if there’s any still around. As a child, i use to love their grilled cheese & milkshakes done the old-fashioned way🙏

  8. The bread is important, too … not just little baguettes, they need to be a little softer.
    At least that’s what the banh mi guy told me over here.
    Too bad he closed up shop and moved to a different town … I miss banh mi!
