The simplicity and moderate taste of these avocado and prawn tartlets makes sure to be a big hit with all age-groups.

AVOCADO AND PRAWN MINI TARTLETS

Active ingredients

1/2 medium avocado
3/4 cup cleaned and deveined medium prawns
8 tart shells
Salt to taste
Black pepper powder to taste
1/2 tsp red chilli sauce
1 tsp tomato catsup
1 tsp sweet chilli sauce
1 tbsp oil
1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp sugar
2 tbsps sliced onions
2 tbsps sliced fresh coriander leaves
Mayo as needed
Red radish slices for garnish
Micro greens for garnish

Approach

1. Take prawns in a bowl. Include salt, black pepper powder, red chilli sauce, tomato ketchup, sweet chilli sauce and mix well. Set aside for 5-10 minutes.
2. Heat oil in a nonstick wok. Add marinated prawns and cook on high heat for 4-5 minutes. Take the pan off the heat and enable to cool.
3. Deseed avocado and extract pulp. Cut into small pieces and transfer in a bowl. Squeeze lemon, include salt, black pepper powder, sugar, onions, coriander and blend well.
4. Stuff the avocado mix in tart shells and top up with cooked prawns.
5. Drizzle mayonnaise on the top and serve garnished with red radish pieces and micro greens.
