Never knew you could put tinfoil and/or glass into the crockpot.
Learned something new today!
Loving watching Nicole Cooking to save Time money and Having FUN Cooking! Keep Up the Great Work Nicole love You!
Thank you for your videos 🙂🫶🏾 I’m a loyal viewer and save these recipes for when I am ready to cook. Love all of the different options 😊
I love using my crockpot it really saves on my propane. The crockpot uses very very little bit of electricity. It also keeps the heat out of the kitchen on a hot day. Love you Nichole 💖
Same here!
I love my crockpot!!! Couldn’t have worked full time and fed my family without it.
Alone now. Going to try cornish hen in crockpot!
They do very well. You could wrap a potato in foil to go with the hen.
“Soak up your bad decisions” 😂 You’re a funny girl!
If you would like to bake the chicken more like a rotisserie chicken, I make five crumbled balls of aluminum foil and place in the bottom of pot. Then I put the whole chicken on top of the foil. This keeps the chicken from boiling in the juices and the skin is drier, but moist meat.
I do this, too. So good!
Thank you that sounds like a great idea I have always wondered how I can get my chicken to be like that in a crock pot 💯👍
I make a little platform of celery and onion slices. Then, the juices get some veggie flavor.
Great idea; thanks. 🙂
I been cooking in crockpot for 50 plus years and love how good the food taste. But I’m addictive to pressure cookers and been experimenting for years. Would love to see some of your recipes for pressure cookers. 😊😊
That seasoning spice wedding thingie is such a cool idea! Something useful! I love that!
I love making caramelized onions in the slow cooker. I only use about 1/4 cup water to it. The broth that comes from it is also delicious, and I freeze it to use in different meals.
Thank you I’m gonna try that
Sounds like a great hack!
Excellent ideas❤❤thank you Nicole!
I made a meatloaf in the crockpot and loved it. At the time I didn’t have an onion but I did have some Durkee fried onions.I used those in my meatloaf. It was so good! Y’all should give it a try. Our family loves Nicole! Just about the only cooking show we watch!
I love the fried onion in meatloaf idea; been doing it for years. Those things improve everything you add them to!
It’s almost Crock-tober!
That lasagna is life changing!
I love the story about your wedding favors!
I skip the foil on the baked potatoes – they cook wonderfully. Perfect for sweet potatoes. I always find sweets are stringy in the microwave, but in the crockpot they cook up and are so smooth when you cut open.
If you have a house full of guests those egg recipes are awesome! Also that is the easiest way to cook onions for French onion soup that I have ever seen! Love it!
What I’m most excited to try is the lasagna. Such a chore to do it the normal way.
I’m going to be having so much lasagna more often .
If you want to bake the chicken in a rotisserie style, make five crumbled balls of aluminum foil and place them in the bottom of the pot. Then I placed the whole chicken on top of the foil. This prevents the chicken from boiling in its juices, resulting in drier skin and moister meat
