I learned to make rolled cabbages as a teenager. It is a Polish tradition and we love them. ❤
cabbage rolls are very popular in eastern Europe and East Asia, we all love them, its not just a Polish dish. And in every language they are called a “pigeons” ( Gołąbki in PL)

Yes, yes, and yes !!!! Polish classic dishes are the best😊
Thank you for Polish recipes
As a Polish person, i do admit that Kielbasa looks tasty, but it’s not a hugely popular way to cook it. Parboiling the sausage is a bit of an overkill – it would only be necessary for a homemade sausage that was smoked for a very short amount of time, store bought sausage can go directly in the oven. Most people just pan fry their Kilebasa or grill it, it’s faster and saves energy, unless you’re cooking for a crowd. Also it tastes so much better when browned.

yes…now Fresh Kielbaska can be lightly simmered in water, and then put the fresh kielbasa into a roasting pan, along with a bit of the water it was simmered in.I add chopped onion, coarse ground pepper, and a touch of canola oil into roasting pan…It makes a lovely aujus and flavors the fresh polish sausage…smoked polish sausage can go into the roasting pan, with the same liquid as you roast the fresh in…cook both till lightly brown…the smoked kielbasa only takes 20 minutes at 350…fresh about 40 to 45…
Thank you.

Thank you.
For gołąbki instead boiling them, put them in the oven.
