  1. Can you switch pancetta for bacon? Sounds delish. Wonder if my son would try it if I asked him to help make it and he seen, all the flavors he likes are in it

    1. Would add a lil smokiness since bacon is smoked where pancetta is not. Or could use a dry cured ham -aka prosciutto. But thinking bacon would be just fine esp if that is what you have on hand.

    1. It’s pretty traditional in some regions.. but she did it so wrong. You add it at the very end. You cook bolognese for hours, and it your tomato is always different (some can be a little bitter/more acidic).. the milk cuts through this and it also makes it a little creamier

  2. Martha my now deceased Father thought you were the ideal woman who could do know wrong!! He loved women who wore aprons and thought they were the ultimate woman.

  3. I wish they showed all the pre 1990 videos! I had them on VHS they are FAB! When she was in her GORGEOUS Turkey Hill residence- those are the BEST! Kimberly

  4. everybody copies poor Martha – she is THE ORIGINAL!! REMEMBER THAT!

  5. The only ingredient I would cut in half is the cream.
Everyone says it waters down the sauce too much.
I find adding 1/4 cup cream is more than enuff.
Also I like how she adds both olive oil and butter to add richness, most ppl just add olive oil

  6. Man we been making spaghetti in the hood like this for generations! With meat, noodles and and preggo sauce.
