I do highly recommend this method when baking a turkey. Herbed butter under and slathered all over the top. You will never bake another without doing this.
You can unless you are rubbing the butter on your face and wiping stuff on your clothes…. you should look just fine.

When I was 19-21 years old her show would come on TV and I would sit down and take notes on each segment in my fancy leather notebook. Just like I was in school.
I was already married and stayed at home with his young kids & took care of the home.
He was older than me by 5 years.
I took being a stay at home mom/wife seriously and Martha showed me the Mechanics on how to do things in the kitchen and the garden. She taught me how to set a table and fold a fitted sheet & sooo many other things. She was the Queen of being Domestic and was Never Ashamed of it! I wanted to do everything Martha. I bought her books and absorbed everything she was teaching.
I’m 54 now and although married to my second husband (for 23 years) I still stay home and take care of us. My notes still valuable from all those years ago. I still do all those things and it makes my husband very happy. He takes good care of us so it makes me happy to do it for him ❤
Martha was a giant part of my growing up and who I am today. To me, she will always be The GOAT

I made Martha’s whole turkey a few years ago. You take cheese cloth and soak it in melted butter and white wine and lay it over and baste. Best I’ve ever tasted.
