His channel exploded so fast, that the fans drowned out every single bit of criticism on almost every single platform.

@@gagnarork Mr beast is in some incredibly deep controversy. Multiple high level employees, as well as some close friends to Mr. Beast have been revealed to be sexual predators and child touchers. Along with this comes a whole host of other allegations like running illegal lotteries and breaking numerous health and safety violations. He’s also facing at least one major law suit pertaining to his “Beast Games” show that’s been in production for a while now. There are some other smaller things as well but that’s most of the big stuff. I believe this specific video was also previously uploaded but was taken down due to community pushback caused by the aforementioned drama.

@@ThomasHendrickson that may be true, but one would imagine celebrities like ramsay to have at least someone close on hand that knows a thing or two about PR. so either way it’s still a bit of a blunder.
@@phoenix402 I’m thinking for GR or his team if they know the allegations or the extent of it then it could be that these are still allegations which have not been proven true (nevermind the court of public OPINION which typically and tbfrank blindly believe anything bad being said about a famous person for obvious reasons) and he still enjoys the presumption of innocent till PROVEN guilty. Once that’s established i’m sure any collaborators or future ones will adjust.
@@basemtalha the point of a PR team is not to prove whether someone you collaborated with is guilty or innocent by law, it is to make sure that your own image does not tank due to public backlash. the “court of public opinion” is entirely what PR revolves around. as for the lawful side of things, mrbeast is currently being sued for some pretty serious stuff, so the innocent until proven guilty line of thinking does not work here in terms of public perception, that is only the required line of thinking for those working in the courtroom. outside of said courtroom people will think and say whatever they want/feels right to them.
the better thing to do would have been to wait with releasing this video until after mrbeast has had his name cleared, assuming the man is indeed innocent. something which considering he is a billionaire, i heavily doubt. you dont get that kind of money without a fair bit of exploitation and rule bending, but that part’s just my opinion. either way, playing it safe has almost always been the better choice when it comes to online perception and handling publicity. not going that route is a highly questionable move, especially when the allegations, regardless of how true they are, are as serious as they are.
@@phoenix402 I completely agree with you, i was just giving a possible explanation for his team reuploading the video. Personally don’t really care about Mr.Beast though i’m partially aware of what happening however at the same time, i also don’t think GR public or global image is gonna take a severe beating either (from this at least). He might be looked at sideways like “wtf were you thinking man” for a hot minute but that’s about it if im being honest although he’s probably now gonna think twice when collaboring with peeps so definetly some good and a lesson will come out for him at least.

I think that pr might’ve seen the controversy and used those words to just draw viewers to the video.
there’s no reason for people to watch the collaboration stars or to ask Gordon to not show or interview people because of allegations..
until someone has court and given the guilty sentence. will those of Mr beast disappear same for logan paul.
people can love and hate those stars equally but Gordon just interviews what he is recommended to do.
