Pesto Mushroom Puff | पेस्तो मशरूम पफ | Snack Recipes | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

This easy-peasy flaky puff pastry with a pesto and mushroom filling is fantastic to bite into with tea/coffee or an in-between treat.

PESTO MUSHROOM PUFF

Ingredients

6 tsps coriander mint pesto
4 puff pastry squares
2 cups chopped button mushrooms
2 tsps olive oil
1 tablespoon sliced garlic
2 green chillies, sliced
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 cup boiled and crushed corn kernels
Salt to taste
Crushed black peppercorns to taste
Milk as required

Technique

1. Preheat the oven at 180 ° C.
2. Heat olive oil in a pan. Include garlic, green chillies and sauté for 30 seconds.
3. Include onion and sauté till translucent.
4. Include mushrooms and cook on high heat for 2 minutes.
5. Include corn, salt, crushed black peppercorns and cook for 2 minutes.
6. Take the pan off the heat and transfer in a bowl.
7. Place the puff pastry squares on the working top. Location coriander mint pesto in the centre.
8. Place the mushroom stuffing in the centre, use water on the edges and fold to make a triangle.
9. Press the edges with a fork. Apply milk on the top and bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes.
10. Bring the puffs out of the oven and serve hot.
