Mulled Strawberry Crumble | Sugar Free Sundays with Sanjeev Kapoor | Episode 1

This tasty dish integrates the natural sweetness of fresh strawberries with an aromatic mix of spices, creating a warm and comforting dessert that's perfect for any event. MULLED STRAWBERRY CRUMBLE

Ingredients

10-12 strawberries, hulled and quartered + for garnish
3/4 cup oats
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup almond powder
10 measures Sugar Free Green
1/4 cup fresh cream
3/4 cup red wine
1 inch cinnamon stick
1 star anise
4-5 cloves
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tbsp corn flour slurry

Approach

1. Preheat oven at 180ºC.
2. Heat a nonstick pan. Include oats, whole wheat flour and dry roast on medium heat for 4-5 minutes.
3. Add almond powder and blend well. Transfer in a bowl, add 5 procedures Sugar Free Green, fresh cream and blend well.
4. Heat the very same nonstick pan. Add strawberries, red white wine, cinnamon, star anise, cloves and blend well. Add vanilla essence, remaining Sugar Free Green and cook on low heat for 8-10 minutes. Discard the spices.
5. Include corn flour slurry and blend well.
6. Transfer the strawberry mix in oven proof glass casserole, sprinkle the oats mix evenly and bake for 15-20 minutes.
7. Garnish with strawberries and serve.
