KHAJUR AKHROT HALWA

Ingredients

10-15 Pro V Dates (khajur).
10-15 Pro V Regal Jumbo Walnuts (akhrot).
2 tbsps ghee.
1/2 tsp green cardamom powder.
1/4 cup corn flour.

Approach.

1. Take Pro V Dates in a bowl. Include adequate water and soak for 4-5 hours. Eliminate the seeds and transfer in a grinder jar. Add 1/2 cup water and grind to fine paste.
2. Slice Pro V Regal Jumbo Walnuts.
3. Heat ghee in a shallow nonstick pan. Add the dates puree, staying ghee and cook till the mix is thick.
4. Include green cardamom powder and cook for 4-5 minutes.
5. Include chopped walnuts and mix well.
6. Dissolve corn flour in 3/4 cup water and add to the pan. Prepare for 4-5 minutes.
7. Transfer the mix in greased glass casserole and reserve for 3-4 hours.
8. Cut into squares and serve.

Preparation Time: 8-9 hours.
Cooking Time: 15-20 minutes.
Cuisine: Indian.
