  1. As a single retired lazy human, my air fryer has been a great investment. Rarely use the oven now. Frozen veggies come out perfect.

    1. My frozen veggies always come out soggy with the air fryer.. do you have this issue too?

    2. I bought an air fryer and I haven’t even used it yet. After watching this, it’s obvious I need to.

    3. @sharimI use mine, and prefer to use it more, but mine is too small. I’m about to get a larger one. I hate heating the oven for just me. I live alone.

    4. @user-jy7mc2gp2y
i have also. some of the edges brown and the rest is soft and soggy, especially the frozen zucchini!

    5. Am not retired yet but I am lazy. I love my air fryer and I love my dishwasher🥴

  2. The _best_ part of using it in the summer is not heating up your whole kitchen with the oven.

    1. Yes! I put mine on the back porch and it doesn’t heat up the house at all.

    2. Definitely! When it’s 110 degrees outside, the last the I want to do is turn my oven on.

  3. For baking potatoes, I microwave them for about 5 minutes first and then air fry for about 15 minutes at 400° to crisp up the skin. Much faster and less electricity.

    1. I love nuking carrots in other vegetables on the microwave a few minutes before adding them to my dish to finalized the cooking process!!

    2. I nuke for 4 min.wraped in a paper towel, and then wrap in foil, and then tap it on the counter top. to finish baking in the foil. and there good, But I will be trying the airfryer to finish next time.

  4. This is one of the best cooking channels on the internet. There is so much great information in each video.

  5. Hi, I’m from Britain, and I have to say I absolutely love your site. I’m a retired Master Chef, and your recipes and kitchen hacks are some of the best I’ve come across. I was already familiar with many of them, but I’ve also learned several new techniques. The Cake Box sweets idea was absolutely brilliant.

These days I only cook for my wife and family, but I’ve already used some of your recipes and will definitely be trying more in the future. I really love your work.

I do have one question: are you a restaurant or a food blogger? And after you’ve finished filming, who gets to eat all that beautiful food?

    1. Nicole is the executive culinary producer for Allrecipes and host. She’s awesome! Great recipes and her personality shines.

  6. 🔥🔥🔥
I’d suggest that before trying the AF popcorn that folks check their owner manual. Mine warns that the air flow can blow food like popcorn into the heating element and cause a fire hazard. This may not apply to all air fryers.

    1. I have the Instapot Air Fryer Delux Turbo 6 qt. The owner’s manuel warns against making popcorn in it.

    2. @rebeccabouranis7674 That’s what I have. Love it but no popcorn I guess! Thanks.

  7. I absolutely love your videos and the biggest reason you wonder… is because of your personality. You are so funny and so dry sometimes it’s just great! it is the frosting on the top of the cake. I’ve learned so much from you and enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you so much!!!

  8. Getting an air fryer was one of the best kitchen decisions I ever made. I use it every day.

    1. Same here. No clue why I waited so long. Doesn’t heat my kitchen up in summer. I use it everyday.
Makes GR8 FISH, CKN, FRIES, PORK 🥰

    2. Me too.. I’m an inattentive cook at the best of times…at least the airfryer turns off after allotted time 😂

    3. I got the all in one Instant Pot Duo Plus. It air fry & many other functions. Such a convenience for me, since I rent a bedroom in some guy’s house, so I hate going down to the kitchen, clear out his stuff, set up my stuff, clean, prep, cook, wait for the stove to cool down, clean, put back his stuff. Every time I cook in the kitchen, it takes me 3-4 hours. Now I do it all in my room. Barely any time at all. Plus very little oil splashing.

  9. I prefer to go for a lower temperature on my baked potatoes. 160°C for 45 mins. The skin still comes out incredibly crispy, but the lower temperature allows the inside to cook more evenly… Very creamy and smooth.

    Excellent video! Thank you. ❤️

  10. This is so awesome for someone living alone as a Senior! What a great help.

    1. I was thinking the same! EAsy way to make food for one….and it all looks yummy

    2. Cooking for one is a challenge for me. I hate buying more than I need, of having food spoil because I can’t eat it soon enough. So glad to have found this!

    3. Im too am a sr…have not turned on oven in a year…store unused pans there..😅
      Lol

    4. I use mine a lot too. I wonder how big hers is. I bet I will find out a little down the way

    5. @sdeaglefeatherthe first one is the ninja 6.5 quart…I have that and love it

  11. I roast my hatch chilis from the garden it’s way faster and easier than the grill outside or oven . They blister great !

  12. Nicole McLaughlin is peak cooking content. I’ll take her over any of these “Michelin starred” chefs any day of the week.

  13. This is , without a doubt, one of the most informative, practical cooking/instructional sites anywhere. We love Nicole and her way of rapid, precise delivery! My only gripe is that some of the recipes linked to are a bit different than what Nicole does. Thank you , Nicole, keep up the good work.

  14. I love mushrooms…I buy pre-sliced mushrooms (any kind), dump them into a big bowl. Spray them with a tiny bit of good olive oil and season with whatever spices you like…I use Italian and salt. Put a lid on and shake well. Preheat the AF to 360, approx 3 mins. Place mushrooms into AF for 9 mins on 360…shake halfway through. Omg…restaurant style flavor without all the oil, butter. I also like to cook my salmon in the AF with a squeeze of lemon and a dollop of chimmichurri, 7-8 mins on 360 after I preheat. Crispy edges, melty delish on the inside! Easy peasy! Yummy! I learned a bunch of techniques…thanks Nicole!

  15. This was one of the best episodes I’ve watched. I never knew my Air fryer could do all these recipes

  16. I bought 2 silicone baskets online and had them shipped to me. I can’t remember the last time I washed my air fryer basket. If you have 2 baskets you can do two different dishes without having to stop to wash the basket. Thanks for these tips. Very useful. I’m trying the potato one soon. And the salsa!!

    1. What a great idea!! I didn’t know they made such a thing. I’m going to order some.

    2. В эти силиконовые корзины я кладу бумажные 😁 и силиконовые не нужно очищать от нагара, а только от мокрого жира или просто от конденсата😊

    3. I got those and the 8 sq in alum baskets w plastic lids and the little round alum ramekins…omg

  17. I have to mention that the paper liners I got off Amazon increased my air fryer usage. They are so awesome, I can’t believe how well they work, and they make cleanup so easy.

    1. Tried them didn’t care for them . Bottom of the food didn’t cook rite even when I turn the food .

    2. Just remember not to put them in when preheating because they’ll fly up and burn. Ask me how I know.

  18. What? I had no idea the air fryer could make hard-boiled eggs or grilled cheese or, frankly, any of the things you did. A whole chicken? Genius. I love this channel!
