From Bitter to Better: Air Fryer Karela Chips By Chef @sanjeevkapoorkhazana

KARELA CHIPS.

Ingredients.

260 grams bitter gourds (karele).
1 1/2 tsps salt.
1/4 tsp turmeric powder.
1 tsp red chilli powder.
1/2 tsp garam masala powder.
1 tsp black pepper powder.
1 tsp coriander powder.
1 tsp dried mango powder (aamchur).
1 1/2 tbsps rice flour.
1 tbsp oil.

Approach.

1. Wash bitter gourd, cut in half, and scoop out seeds. Slice into 2-inch long, 1 cm thick batons.
2. Add 1 tsp salt and set aside for 10 minutes.
3. Eject excess water and pat dry on absorbent paper.
4. Transfer in a bowl. Add remaining salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, black pepper powder, coriander powder, dried mango powder and mix well.
5. Include rice flour and oil and mix well.
6. Preheat air fryer at 175 ° C for 2– 3 minutes.
7. Spread karela in a single layer in the basket and air fry for 25-30 minutes, shaking after 7 minutes.
8. Permit to cool and serve.
