PANEER FOXTAIL TIKKI
Components
1/4 cup grated paneer
2 medium potatoes, boiled and mashed
1/2 cup fox tail millets, boiled
1 medium onion, sliced
1 1/2 tsp coriander powder
3/4 tsp garam masala powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
2-3 green chillies, sliced
1 -2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves
1 1/2 tsp dried mango powder (aamchur powder).
samo flour (vari atta) for covering.
Oil for shallow frying.
Green chutney for serving.
Approach.
1. Take paneer in a bowl, add potatoes, fox tail millets, onion, coriander powder, garam masala powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, green chillies, coriander and blend well. Include dried mango powder and mix.
2. Divide the mixture into equal part and shape it into balls and slightly flatted to make a Tikki. Cover each Tikki with samo flour.
3. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Location the tikki in a hot oil and shallow fry from both sides till golden brown. Drain pipes on an absorbent paper.
4. Set up the tikki on a serving plate and serve hot with green chutney.
