Paneer Khurma | पनीर खुरमा | Bihar Special | Mithai | #HiddenGemsOfIndia | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

In today's episode of #HiddenGemsOfIndia, we're introducing a wonderful traditional sweet from Bihar made with paneer, so prepare to enjoy this simple dessert!



200 grams home cheese( paneer), cut into 1 inch pieces
1 cup sugar
4-5 green cardamoms
8-10 saffron hairs


1. Heat a pressure cooker. Sugarcoat, 2 1/2 cups water and green cardamom and permit to boil.
2. Add home cheese, close with the cover and cook on medium heat till 1 whistle is released.
3. Lower the heat and cook for 1 hour.
4. Open when the pressure settles completely.
5. Heat a shallow nonstick pan.
6. Drain the liquid directly in the pan. Add saffron and cook till thick.
7. Include cottage cheese pieces and blend well. Enable to cool entirely.
8. Serve.
