MAWA

Ingredients

200 grams hariyali mawa
2 cups sugar
1 lemon wedge
3-4 green cardamoms
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup cornflour
2 tbsps water chestnut flour (singhade ka atta).
1/2 tsp green cardamom powder.
Ghee for deep frying.
Silver varq for garnish.

Approach.

1. Heat a pan. Sugarcoat, 2 cups water and lemon wedge. Slit open green cardamoms and contribute to the pan and cook till sugar reaches 1 string consistency.
2. Heat a nonstick pan. Add hariyali mawa and 1 cup milk and cook for 5-6 minutes on medium heat.
3. Include cornflour, water chestnut flour and mix well. Cook for 4-5 minutes or till thick.
4. Add remaining milk and blend well until there are no swellings. Stress and enable to cool.
5. Include green cardamom powder to the syrup and stress the syrup through a great screen and set aside.
6. Heat enough ghee in a kadai. Fill the mawa mixture in a piping bag and pipeline into thick spirals in hot ghee. Deep fry till brown.
7. Drain and contribute to the syrup. Reserve for 3-4 minutes.
8. Transfer in a serving plate, garnish with silver varq and serve.
