Celebrating the last couple of mangoes of the season, Mrs Alyona Kapoor shares the dish of Mango Lassi and . Do make it at home and let us know how it ended up. Mango Lassi is a precious drink during the summer season and is delighted in as a scrumptious way to cool down and quench thirst. The tropical essence of mango combined with the velvety texture of yogurt makes mango lassi a popular option amongst mango lovers and enthusiasts of alike.



1 1/2 cups chopped ripe alphonso mango
1 cup thick yogurt
5-6 seedless red dates, soaked in warm water for 20 minutes and drained pipes
Ice cubes as needed
A large pinch of saffron hairs
Slivered almonds for garnish
Sliced mango pieces for garnish
8 tablespoons ripe mango puree
Ice cubes as needed
Fresh mint leaves as needed
1/2 tsp sugar alternative
2 lemons, cut in half
1 cup drinking soda


1. To make the lassi, put the mango in a blender jar, add yogurt, dates, ice cubes, saffron hairs, and mix to a great mixture. Pour this into a serving glass, garnish with sliced mangoes, saffron hairs, and almonds. Serve immediately.
2. To make the martini, apply some lemon juice on the rim of the martini glass, press it over salt-red chilli mixture.
3. To make one portion, add 2 tablespoons mango pulp in a shaker, add ice, a couple of mint leaves, sugar replacement, squeeze the juice of 1/2 lemon straight into it and add some drinking soda, and shake it lightly till well integrated. Stress into the ready glass and garnish with mint leaves. Serve right away.
