Mango Chutney | कच्चे आम की चटनी बनाने का तरीका | Mangolicious Recipes | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Active ingredients.

5-6 raw mangoes, seeded and cut into small cubes with skin.
2 tbsps + 1 tsp oil.
1 tsp coriander seeds.
1 tsp cumin seeds.
1 tsp sesame seeds.
1/2 tsp asafoetida.
3 tbsps scraped fresh coconut.
1 medium onion, carefully chopped.
Salt to taste.
3 tbsps grated jaggery.
4-5 dried red chillies.
1 tsp mustard seeds.
15-18 curry leaves.


1. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a non-stick pan.
2. Dry roast coriander seeds, cumin seeds, sesame seeds, asafoetida and coconut till fragrant. Remove from heat and cool.
3. Include onion to the oil and saute well. Include mango cubes and salt, toss to mix and cook.
4. Add jaggery, mix well, cover and cook till jaggery melts and mangoes turn soft. Switch off heat and cool.
5. Take roasted active ingredients in a mill container alongwith cooked mangoes, chopped dried red chillies and grind into a smooth chutney. Move into a bowl.
6. Heat 1 tsp oil in another non-stick pan. Add mustard seeds and curry leaves and let the seeds splutter. Add this tempering to the chutney and mix well.
7. Work as an accompaniment.
