Welcome to Day 1 of exploring our scrumptious 'Diwali Thali'! ✨ Toh aaj hum aapke liye lekar aaye hain thali ki ek khaas mithai: 'Kaju Khoya Besan Laddoo'! Yeh mithai mein milega aapko creamy texture aur nutty flavor ka ideal combination. Toh kyun na aaj hi is mithai ko banayein aur apne Diwali celebrations ko khushiyon se bhardein?.

KAJU KHOYA BESAN LADDOO.

Active ingredients.

1/2 cup cashew nuts (kaju), coarsely powdered.
2 cups grated khoya/mawa.
1 cup coarse gram flour (jada besan).
1/3 cup ghee.
2-3 tsps poppy seeds (khas khas).
1/2 tsp green cardamom powder.
1 cup powdered sugar.

Technique.

1. Heat ghee in a wide non-stick pan. Add coarse gram flour and blend well. Continually roast on low heat till it turns golden brown and fragrant.
2. Switch the heat off, include the grate khoya and blend it till well integrated.
3. Include poppy seeds, green cardamom powder, and cashew nuts powder and sauté on low heat for 1-2 minutes.
4. Transfer the roasted mix on to a big bowl and enable to cool to room temperature.
5. Add the powdered sugar and mix well with your hand. Take small parts of the mix and tightly roll it into a ball. This is a laddoo.
6. Set up the laddoos on a serving plate. Serve.
