Imarti | इमरती बनाने का आसान तरीका | #DeshkaSwaad | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Commemorate Day 8 of #DeshkaSwaad with us as we dive into the crispy, sweet goodness of '.' This conventional Indian dessert is perfect for satisfying your craving for sweets with its unique texture and flavor.

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups divided skinless black gram (dhuli urad dal).
2 cups sugar.
2 tbsps milk.
1/4 tsp green cardamom powder.
3 tablespoons corn flour.
A large pinch of edible orange food colour (optional).
Ghee for deep frying.
8-10 pistachios, blanched, peeled and slivered.

Approach.

1. Take split skinless black gram in a bowl, include enough water and soak for 2-3 hours.
2. Heat a non-stick deep pam, add sugar and 2 cups water, mix well. Prepare till sugar melts.
3. Include milk and let it come to a boil. Discard the scum.
4. Lower the heat and allow the sugar syrup to decrease to one string consistency. Add green cardamom powder.
5. Take soaked urad dal in a mixer jar, include 3/4 cup water and grind to a smooth mix. Transfer the mixture into a big plate.
6. Include corn flour and food colour, mix using your hands till well integrated.
7. Transfer the mixture into a jalebi fabric and fold it into a potli.
8. Heat sufficient ghee in a flat kadai, pipeline out the batter into the hot ghee to form imartis. Deep fry till golden and crisp.
9. Immerse each imarti into the sugar syrup and let it soak for 2-3 minutes. Drain pipes and organize on a serving plate.
10. Garnish with slivered pistachios and serve.
