10-15 Pro V Select Zahidi Whole Natural Dates
1/2 cup tamarind
1 cup chopped jaggery
1/2 tablespoon cumin seeds
1 tablespoon fennel seeds
1 tsp red chilli powder
Black salt to taste
1/2 tsp dried mango powder (amchur).


1. Deseed Pro V Select Zahidi Whole Natural Dates.
2. Heat a pressure cooker. Add dates, tamarind, jaggery, 1 1/2 cups water and blend well.
3. Close the cover and cook on medium heat till the pressure is released 3-4 times.
4. Heat a small nonstick pan. Include cumin seeds and fennel seeds and dry roast for 2 minutes.
5. Transfer in a mortar and crush coarsely.
6. Open the cover of the pressure cooker once the pressure settles completely.
7. Transfer the dates mix in a mill jar and grind to great paste. Include 1 cup water and continue to grind.
8. Heat a nonstick pan. Strain the ground mixture straight.
9. Add red chilli powder, black salt, 2 tsps ground mixture, dried mango powder and blend well.
10. Permit to cool and serve.
