Chicken and Cheese Parcels | चिकन अँड चीज़ पार्सल्स | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Prepared in no time, the crunchy deep-fried parcel of cream cheese and chicken mince is a lovely deep-fried pastry. Love it.



3/4 cup chicken mince
8 wonton sheets
2 tablespoons chopped spring onion bulbs
1 tbsp sliced garlic
2 tbsps chopped spring onion greens
Squashed black peppercorns to taste
Salt to taste
1/4 cup cream cheese
1 tbsp combined sesame oil
Corn flour slurry as required
Oil for deep frying
Sweet chilli sauce for serving


1. Take chicken mince in a bowl. Include spring onion bulbs, garlic, spring onion greens, crushed black peppercorns, salt, cream cheese, blended sesame oil and mix well.
2. Place the wonton sheets on worktop. Place the mix in the centre and brush the cornflour slurry on the edges. Bring 4 edges together to make a pocket.
3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai and slide the ready pockets in. Deep fry till golden brown and crisp.
4. Drain pipes on absorbent paper and serve hot with sweet chilli sauce.
