Chana aur Gud ki Chikki | चना गुड़ चिक्की | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Health and fun come in many kinds. The Chana aur is just among them.

CHANA GUD KI CIKKI

Active ingredients

1 cup roasted and peeled chana
3/4 cup sliced jaggery (gud).
1 tsp ghee + for greasing.
1/2 tsp green cardamom powder.

Approach.

1. Grease a parchment sheet and a plastic sheet with some ghee.
2. Heat a non-stick pan. Include jaggery and 2 tablespoons water and cook till the jaggery melts. Continue to prepare till the mixture reaches difficult ball consistency, while stirring in between.
3. Lower the heat to low and include ghee, green cardamom powder and blend well. Include the chana and mix till well combine.
4. Location the greased parchment sheet on a worktop, add the jaggery-chana mixture over it and place the plastic on the top with the greased side facing down and gently press to level the top. Remove the plastic sheet and make square marks with the knife on the chikki while it is still warm. Permit to cool totally.
5. Cut into needed shape and act as required.
