BASQUE CHEESECAKE
Active ingredients
1 1/2 cups cream cheese
3/4 cup castor sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
3/4 cup fresh cream
1 1/4 tablespoons improved flour (maida).
1/4 tsp salt.
Approach.
1. Pre-heat the oven at 200 ° C.
2. Take cream cheese in a bowl fitted with a paddle accessory. Add sugar and beat well till light and fluffy. Scrape the sides of the bowl at routine intervals of time.
3. Break eggs in a bowl. Add 1 egg at a time and beat till well integrated. Add vanilla essence and mix well.
4. Add fresh cream and beat for 1 minute.
5. Add improved flour, salt and mix well with light hands.
6. Put the batter in a loose bottom cake tin lined with a parchment paper. Tap well to get rid of any air bubbles.
7. Bake in preheated oven for 35-40 minutes. Enable to cool entirely.
8. Cool for 3-4 hours.
9. Demould, cut into wedges and serve.
