A gluten free tasty treat that is very basic to make and will satisfy your appetite yearnings when you wish to chew on to something scrumptious yet healthy.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups pearl millet (bajra) flour
1/4 tsp crushed black peppercorns
2 tsps white and black sesame seeds
1/2 tsp carom seeds (ajwain).
2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves.
Salt to taste.
1/2 tsp Chilli Powder.
2 tbsps + 2 tsps oil.
Approach.
1. Take pearl millet flour in a big bowl, include crushed black peppercorns, white and black sesame seeds, carom seeds, chopped coriander, salt and Tata Sampann Chilli Powder.
2. Heat 2 tbsps oil in a pan and put the hot oil into the pearl millet flour mix and blend well. Include 3/4 cup water and knead to a soft dough.
3. Include remaining oil and knead well. Cover with a damp muslin fabric and set aside for 10-15 minutes.
4. Pre-heat the oven at 180 ˚C.
5. Divide the dough into two portions, shape each into a ball.
6. To make the crackers, take a parchment sheet and place a dough ball on it and cover with another sheet of parchment and roll the dough into a semi-thick sheet. Eliminate roundels utilizing a cookie cutter and place them on a baking tray.
7. Place the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, get rid of the baking tray out of the oven and turn each cracker and put the baking tray back in the oven and bake even more for 6-8 minutes.
8. Take the baking tray out the oven and permit the crackers to cool to space temperature level, transfer the crackers into an air tight container or serve as required.
