मसाला सोडा | Masala Soda | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

MASALA SODA

Active ingredients

1 tsp black salt
1 tsp crushed black peppercorns
1 tsp chaat masala
Drinking soda as required
1/2 cup sugar
25-30 fresh mint leaves
4 lemons, cut in half
Ice cubes as needed

Method

1. Take sugar in a bowl. Add 1/2 cup warm water and blend well. Set aside till the sugar melts.
2. To make one serving, put 2 tbsps of the ready syrup in a serving glass. Add 1/4 tsp black salt, 1/4 tsp crushed black peppercorns, 1/4 tsp chaat masala, 6-8 mint leaves and squeeze the juice of 1 lemon into it and mix well. Add ice cubes and top it up with drinking soda. Serve right away.

  2. To get more minty flavor ,I personally would have crushed the mint ,like we do while making a mohito.
